Hi everyone!

I am from Brazil and I have been a gamer for almost eleven years. Only last year, though, I had my first contact with Dragonlance. The Chronicles were recently translated to portuguese so I could read it in my own tongue. I was delighted! These books became one of my favorite fantasy novels, as good as LOTR, if not better. I started to run Dragonlance games and import the game books, as well as other DL novels, since only the Chronicles exists in portuguese.

I would like to say that, despite DL arrived only recently on Brazil, it gathered a substantial number of fans. I have great desire to see this new DL animation in Brazil, both on DVD and theaters. How can we know if we are on the plans?

Ultimately, I want to apologize if I made some writing errors, my english is not perfect. (if I did, please let me know, so I can learn)

Hello there Marino. Most of us here are pretty excited about the movie as well. Your English is fine so don't worry about it.

Welcome Marino, moldycheeseface, and Dark Magik! Glad to have you!

As to the books, the Raistlin Chronicles, Chronicles, Dragons of Dwarven Depths, Legends, Second Gen., Dragons of Summer Flame, and War of Souls are the books, that I have in my personal canon.

Seeing that I am partial to Elves, I will one of these days get the Elven Exiles.

I recommend these first, in this order:

Chronicles

Legends

The Second Generation

Dragons of Summer Flame

(Jean Rabe's Dragons of a New Age) -- some tend to skip this trilogy

War of Souls

Soulforge
Brothers in Arms

Dragons of the Dwarven Depths

Hi all

I am dracomik from Denmark in scandinavia. I first encountered dragonlance many years ago, when I found the books with Huma and kaz (since they translate the books to danish, I don't know ehat they're original titles are) read aloud on casette tapes. I was hooked instantly, and now many years (and books) later I find myself once more on a journey across ansalon.

I think this is a great forum, and WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE THAT MOVE?

btw I'm a 19 year-old bassplayer

I'm not afraid of death.. Just things that hurt.
