I got an early Christmas present. My wife commissioned a neighbor, who is an artist, to make a painting of Raistlin. Here is how it turned out.

Here is a closeup of his face.

Here is the head of the Staff of Magius.

The background is spells written in dwarven, elvish and draconic that he found on the internet. He baked the pages to give them an ancient feel.

Here is another shot of it.

I like the greenish gold. He had a hard time trying to get the skin gold. I like it. He refused to look at anyone else's drawings or paintings. He just wanted to go off of what the books said and the way that Carmen described him.

What do you guys think? I love it.

Preliminary sketches of Kalowen and Linera gonna be up in like 10 minutes.

I've been working on these for awhile and I'm finally getting something that I like.

Kalowen is silver with faint stripes and patches here and there.

Linera is stark white with bright orange stripes and patches.

Umm...I'm not good at drawing humans from scratch, but here is a pic that I found that I've found so far best embodies her

This is the original. It is supposed to be a Na'vi/human hybrid. I found it on google.

Here is how I changed it for Linera. I like how it keeps the tiger stripes that I've chosen as her markings.

There are definetly some awsome artists that contributed to the DL and D&D universe no question. Larry Elmore is one of them. I love his work
