I told mygoneal that I was going to go through my taladas box set tonight, but I ended up doing this instead... I have the rest of the companions to paint, and a few draconians too! Hope you enjoy these!

Definitely cool James!!!  I like them all. Especially Raist, Sturm, FIZ and Tas!!!

Thats Gunthar, not Sturm.  I'll have Sturm up in a couple of days.
But I love your pic of Fizban and tas... guess what I used for my choice of colours when painting them?

Duh... that is right!!!  Gunthar was a Blonde!  ((ie. Elmore, It was His art that got me to notice the DL Books back in '84)) ...Now I know why, I really liked your FIZ & TAS!!!

um no. Well i guess I could, but I'm not that talented you see. Raistlin's ( and yes I am laughing at the irony because I am being totally serious here) eyes would end up as a giant hourglass, instead of an hourglass pupil, and the rest would just look weird.
Altho those pictures look pretty big, its macro photography, which makes small things look much bigger. Their faces are smaller than the nail on my pinky finger. or about half the size of a dime. In other words, very small, and eyes would be tough... Unless I invest in one of those magnifying glasses with the light you can mount on a table.
but for now, you have to deal with it.

They are great as is James. That small would take a good precise hand. and besides your Halloween mask makes up for the lack off.

Great job! I bet it was hard to get the detail that you wanted on that small of a figurine. Everytime I have tried to paint a miniature like that the paint get clumpy in places. Excellent work!

I tried painting eyes on Sturm and Caramon.. The result is less than satisfactory... I'll post them tomorrow, right now I am off to bed.

Hi guys here's stage two Raist, not much left to do now just a bit of background and blending. Gomer (my tattooist) wanted to continue but three hours of under arm needleing was enough for me but I couldn't be happier with the way this tatt is working.
