Welcome Zahj. It's nice to know that your father has enough good sense to start you on your journey at a young age. Props to your pa!!! I didn't start until I was 16--14 years ago. No children yet, but my wife and I plan to have one in about two years. I hope I'm able to keep my copies of the novels in good enough shape in order to give them to him/her around the same age you started.

Oh I hope so. The cover and some of the pages have started to split and fall off my Chronicle books, they've been read too many times :P. They're beeing held together with masking tape lol. I plan on replacing them with the newer versions, then buying the anotated version and the new leather bound version.

I bought my 11 yo the young reader's set. My books are starting to fall apart now, I am going to have to tape them. Back in July I had the honor of meeting Weis and Hickman at the book signing in San Diego, I got my Chronicles, DD, and Legends all signed, I do hope they make it to be handed down.

That is awesome, I hope that when I have kids I can pass the books down to them as well. By the way, have you read the young readers versions? I was wondering how they compare to the regular books. Are they toned down in the violence?
