hello everyone... my name's tina, and i have lived and breathed dragon lance since i was in my early teens...now i'm 27 and it is still my only sanity... i have lived on ansalon, even if only in my mind... it kept me sane when i was young, though i've always lived fantasy in one realm or another... these are not only stories to me... these books are alive... these charachters exist... they are my friends... and to see a movie made about them... that would truly make me happy... and not much in life has ever made me happy...

i will do this...nothing in my life matters except this...no moment in my life exists except this moment... i am born in this moment and if i fail, i will die in this moment...

Hey Yall, Im from Louisiana and yes i did just say yall. Tayonis means Lord of Fire and yall can call me Tay for short. I consider my self fairly well versed in DL and can hold my own on most of the topics. I have been reading DL for years and I even got my brother hooked. I look forward my time spent here on these forums.

I haven't introduced myself yet.

I'm Slorg and have enjoyed Dragonlance since Autumn Twilight was first released. I checked it out from the local library because the artwork looked cool (I was a kid, c'mon!).

I've since bought every book in the series up until the Lost Chronicles. I even tracked down the hard-to-find Elven Nations books on Ebay. Sadly, I had to sell my entire collection when I moved from the USA to Australia.

Other items of note:

1) I posed for Larry Elmore's painting of Dalamar the Dark in the Dragonlance D&D 3rd Edition book. He liked my facial structure enough to include me as Raistlin in the same painting.

(Here it is. I admit it's *not* my favorite Raistlin unfortunately)

2) I once worked as an assistant manager at a bookstore in Ohio. We hosted R. A. Salvatore (Created Drizz't among other things) at the store and we've kept in touch since then. He's producing video games now, believe it or not!

3) I personally have written and published 28 poems. More to come.

Welcome!!

The Elven Nations books are back in stores, so you can get them back! But not the original covers I'm sure.. I hope to own all the books one day, then I will try to find all the old covers. My soon-to-be husband will not understand, he never does.. haha

That's so cool that you posed as Dalamar! You could get a lot of play from the DL forum ladies for that. Haha jk

I was younger back then.

All my long black hair is gone (it was dyed anyway).
My face is still relatively elvish, but it's not the same without the hair.

Side note: Larry said it didn't matter how my hair was styled, he'd deal with that himself. I ended up styling it anyway even though it wasn't needed.

Also: The photography came back late, which ended up delaying the painting...and the book. I still feel bad about that.

Hi! I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Margaret Weis, co-author with Tracy Hickman of the Dragonlance Chronicles (and others!). We're very excited about the upcoming movie. Tracy and the producers will be posting some exciting new information about the wonderful music in the near future. Keep watch on this site!
