Karl Preusser

Karl Preusser has been turning heads in the film and television industries for years. Karl's unique musical voice and his always creative sound palette have kept filmmakers and producers coming back for more. His numerous credits include several feature films, television series, award winning short films, and commercials. He has worked with composers such as Michael Kamen, Elliot Goldenthal, and Hans Zimmer.

Karl's recent film credits include the WWII epic Seed of Contention (Starring Matthew Settle 'Band of Brothers' and Leonor Varela 'The Tailor of Panama', 'Blade II'); the dark comedy I Am Stamos (Starring John Stamos, Robert Peters and Clint Howard); the critically acclaimed Ronnie (Starring Adam Scott 'The Aviator', Brian Austin Green, Aimee Graham, and Marc Pelligrino); and the short film Songbird, which will be featured in competition at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

His television scores include the exciting TLC reality series Spymaster; the award winning nature series Saving the Endangered Species; and Wild California, a three part series for the Discovery Network's Travel Channel.

Karl has a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. A Minnesotan originally, he currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
